At the age of 7 she began competing and winning team and solo awards at the regional and national level. At age 10 she became a part of her communities gospel choir where she honed her vocal skills. In High School, Jasmine knew that she found her niche in the arts and expanded her education by attending numerous camps, classes, and conventions where she worked with highly regarded coaches, teachers, and choreographers. She knew then that her life would revolve around the performing arts. After graduating high school, Jasmine went to Iowa State University on a full-scholarship for gymnastics where she competed all across the country. She also became a member of the Dub-H hiphop troupe on campus, studied musical theatre, and graduated with a degree in broadcast. Her goal was to be a well-rounded performing artist, and after graduating, Walt Disney World took notice. Jasmine became ‘friends’ with Princess Tiana, danced down Main Street USA in numerous parades, tumbled as an acrobat in the world-renown Block Party Bash parade, and sang and danced in a hip-hop show called Disney Channel Rocks! Following her career at Disney, Jasmine received an opportunity to perform her dream role as Lorrell Robinson in the musical, Dreamgirls, produced by Mad Cow Theatre in Orlando, FL. During this time, she also had the privilege of teaching hip-hop and lyrical dance to students at New Destiny Christian Center, under the leadership of Pastor Paula White. Soon after she was off, sailing the high seas as a Playlist Performer for Carnival Cruise Lines. She fell in love with the combination of live singing, dancing, and acting. Since returning from her contracts, Jasmine is more excited and motivated than ever to share her knowledge of the performing arts in the Middle Georgia area. Teaching and working with people of all ages has always been one of Jasmine’s passions. Her desire is to produce the ‘whole package' in her students, an ability to do it all! He recognized his voice at the age of four where he began to sing around the house and mimic different artist that he saw and heard on television. By the age of seven Montel was involved in the choral program in his school where he quickly elevated to the advanced group referred to as, “The Ensemble”. It was evident to his family and peers that he was BORN with the gift of music. A few years later Montel began vocal lessons and singing in his local church choir where his passion and knowledge increased. There was a strong desire to go above the standard of just learning lyrics and his vocal part. He wanted to understand the art of hearing harmonies and teaching those harmonies to others. By the age of eleven Montel was responsible for teaching and directing all music for the three choirs in that ministry. This assignment caused him to mature quickly musically as well as intellectually in his youth. In 2001, Montel joined the Houston County High School Choral Program under the direction of Theresa Alexander. Montel was able to learn what it meant to “set the standard” under her leadership. The growth that he experienced was incredible. He was given the privilege to lead in various capacities as a student director/leader. Today he attributes his work ethic and determination in completing tasks to the principles that Mrs. Alexander imparted into his life. After graduating with Music Honors in 2005, Montel was accepted into the music department of Georgia Southern University where he planned to pursue his music education degree. He soon decided to accept the call of becoming a full time Worship Minister back in Macon, Georgia. He immediately began to write and arrange music and melodies that soon became songs that various artists would professionally record. Over the years he has continued his pursuit of knowledge and wisdom of vocal performance, and vocal health. As an Ohio native, she has always had a strong affinity for movement and music. She earned a BFA in Dance and minor in Piano from Howard University in Washington D.C. During her senior year, she joined Garth Fagan Dance Company in Rochester, New York. As a senior principal dancer some of her most memorable moments include performing with the Wynton Marsalis Septet, Jessye Norman, the Ying Quartet, and William Chapman Nyaho. Throughout her career she has had the pleasure of performing works by many incredible choreographers including Christopher Huggins, Ronald K. Brown, Chuck Davis, Ayodele Casel, Dianne Harvey and Sherrill Berryman-Johnson. Lindsay has also had the honor of performing before dignitaries such as Zindzi Mandela, Dorothy Height, Laura Bush, Caroline Kennedy, and Reverend Mpho Tutu. Her choreography has appeared on national and international stages including Muda Africa Dance Company in Tanzania, The Whispers "I Sing This Song" music video, The Debórah Show (TV Special) and Sean Penn's Haiti relief organization JP/HRO. Her work in theatre includes choreography for Nina Simone: Four Women (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), Romeo & Juliet (Alabama Shakespeare Festival), and Crowns (Cultural Fusions Theater). Much of her Choreography lives and is shared on the concert stage through companies and festivals including Shona Shareef African Dance Company(PA), Lindsay Renea Dance Theatre(OH), Time 2 Dance Festival(Tanzania), Collegium of African Diaspora Dance(NC), La Femme Dance Festival(Illinois), ModArts Collective Thread(NY), and Alabama Minority Choreographer Festival. When she is not choreographing and performing, Lindsay creates opportunities for her students to learn the art of dance by teaching Modern, Tap, West African, Jazz, Afro-Caribbean, Contemporary, Composition, Dance Production and Dance History. Her desire to inspire younger generations of dancers pushed her to earn her Master of Fine Arts degree in Choreography at Jacksonville University, Jacksonville Florida. She has served as an adjunct faculty member in the Dance Major program at Youngstown State University. It is with great pride that she founded The Lindsay Renea Foundation to bring the art of dance, creative wellness and cultural diversity to her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. She uses her experience in many capacities to inform her work as Rehearsal Director for Komanse Dance Company in Atlanta, Georgia. She found her passion for the performing arts at a very young age. Growing up in Music City offered her lots of performance opportunities such as dancing in a music video for contemporary christian artist, Pam Thum. She received arts scholarships to attend Green Hills School of Dance, Franklin School of Performing Arts, and Harpeth Hall. She was very active in her high school's dance and theater programs as well as her dance studio's award winning competition teams. She went on to receive academic and dance scholarships to attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. There she trained under Ron Tassone, Judith Leifer-Bentz, Kiesha Lalama, Marion Petrov, and Nicolas Petrov. During her time in Pittsburgh, Spring performed in several Student Choreography Showcases, Faculty Choreography Showcases, student films, as well as outside performances with Giant Jerk Productions. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, concentration in Jazz, with a minor in Psychology. After college, Spring relocated to warmer weather in Georgia. She performed with Brent Smith's dance company, Ready for Action in Macon and Atlanta. She also worked on several film sets in Atlanta, credits include: music videos, Let It Shine, The Game, Tyler Perry's House of Payne. From 2013-2016, Spring was the artistic director for Breaking Walls Dance Company. Breaking Walls provided performance, training, and choreography opportunities for young adults in the middle Georgia area. The focus was on collaborations between classically trained dancers and hip hop freestylers. Spring has been teaching dance for 20 years. She is certified through Southern Association of Dance Masters in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Acrobatics. Spring also has Level 1 certification through Dance Educators of America in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acrobatics, and Modern. She has won several Choreography Awards, Top overalls, and Judge's Awards at dance competitions. She completed her degree in Bachelor of Arts in Dance at Brenau University. Her training is in tap, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. She has had the privilege of studying under Gilda Loyd, Doctor Madia Cooper- Ashirfi, Michael Jablonski, and Nurzhan Kulybaev. Boston has had the opportunity of being selected to perform works created by well known choreographers such as Jennifer Archibald, Nicholas Palmquist, Owen Scarlett, and Joshua Blake Carter. Additionally, Boston has gained knowledge in the creative process while debuting her choreographic works during her tenure at Brenau both on stage and on screen. Having graduated from the Cleveland School of the Arts in 2020, Alabama State University in 2024, Ms. Deadrick brings a wealth of dance experience to her academic journey. She has not only danced but also taught students ranging from ages 3 to 18. Proficient in various dance forms, She holds a particular affinity for ballet, modern, contemporary, and Horton techniques. Throughout her dance career, Ms. Deadrick has had the privilege of working with esteemed choreographers such as Troy Powell, Antonio Brown, Darrell Moultrie, Christopher Huggins, Crystal Perkins, Renee McDonald, DeShona Pepper-Robertson, Allyne Gartrell, and Kay Eichman. Her dedication and talent have earned her opportunities to attend The International Association of Blacks In Dance (IABD) and secure numerous summer and school, and company scholarships. Deadrick's commitment to her craft is evident in the accolades she has received, including full scholarships from renowned institutions such as Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Complexions, Dance Theatre of Harlem, UNLV, Verb Ballet, and Deeply Rooted Dance Theatre.
